"Decisions Do Determine Destiny"  -- President Monson

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland - Because of Your Faith

"Decisions Do determine Destiny!" When we make a choice, sometimes we do not realize the consequence, whether it is an immediate consequence, or one that will follow us later on in our lives, we will live with the choices that we make. Like the choice of going to church, which according to the words of Elder Jay E. Jensen, a general authority of the church, is not just a social gathering of all the members of the church. But a gathering to worship in THE true church of Jesus Christ. And when we realize the church and all of its functions are necessary to the establishment of the kingdom of God and the bringing the children of God to a unity of faith, and to build up the Kingdom of God in preparation to the second coming of our savior; then we may not realize the consequence of our simple choice of not going to church. Whether it is this choice or another, it Matters to which way we go. Since no man knows when the coming of our savior is, but we know that he will come quick, it shall be a good choice to learn more of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, and history of the establishment of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, to increase our faith, to seek for good works that others may see and do as well and glorify the father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14-16), and to prepare ourselves to the great day of the lord.

Elder David A. Bednar - Watching with All Perseverance

He Lives: Testimonies of Jesus Christ

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland - Place No More for the Enemy of My Soul

The Mission

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is simple. Faith, Repentance Baptism, receive the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end. And there are two commandments that we must follow. Love thy God with all thine heart, and Love thy neighbor, under which falls all the laws and commandments. I love to be a missionary and teach people of the great things that Jesus Christ did, and help them and serve them, to show them that there is a better way to live. There is a way that they can improve their lives, and to know that through Jesus Christ, you may receive light and blessing to improve our lives and come closer to God. One of my Favorite scriptures right now is Alma 37:6-7, which in brief say, "By small and simple things are great things brought to pass, and small means in many instances doth confound the wise. Love everyone and look for every opportunity to make a difference in some ones life for the better.

And now, my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they teach all men that they should do good.
