It's not what you say, it's what you feel...

Do you remember your greatest times in life, or maybe even your worst... All of the times that someone really remembers in life are the times that they felt something really strong, whether it was a good feeling or a bad feeling. What we really want to know and understand is how to get more of the good feelings into our life and how to have less of the feelings that bring our spirit down and make us feel sad about happened.

Have you ever listened to a piece of music, maybe classical, maybe something else, and your were really touched by what was said. If you truely think about it, how could this be, because most of the time, when I get the feeling of either happiness or saddness, it is because of something some one said. But what I related to early in a post about showing love at all times, and if nessesary, use words.. holds true to this point. When I truely think about it, The things that touched me most, are things that I have felt Whether it came from words said, actions done unto me or things that I have seen. All the things that in our lives that we remember most are the things that, through some other way, have become feelings that are ingrained into us. So when I heard the comment a while ago, that is was not the words that were said, but the feelings that you feel, I have to agree to the fullest. Whether or not you speak the same language, whether or not you can see, or whether or not you can even hear or feel with your hands, it does not matter. What really matters is what you feel inside of you, and what you can make others feel as well...

A friend in need - A message from the LDS Church

We meet again

Have you ever met someone who told you something you didn't like. You had split your ways and then you just happen to meet that person again. You have the feelings of, what do I do now. Sometimes this happens in our life, and sometimes it can scare us, and sometimes we may find that it could be good for us to meet again. Someone I met recently told me something that truely scared me, and then I got got sent to another area and never saw that person again. And much to my suprise, I was walking through the Sacred Grove in Palmyra, New York, and I saw him and said hello. I was not sure that it was him 100% but to see him at the Sacred Grove made me feel good.

All in all, this is just an example to everyone, do not judge people that you don't really know. If you were to really know them, they might suprise you with the potential they really have for good in your life. Listen and be a friend to all. Some of our best friends, are people we have not met yet. Follow the example of the savior, be a friend to all..

Madden

Who loves to play Madden Football :) That is one of the best games ever ha. Everyone around the world gets into it, and when you play online, if you just happen to be a high level player, you most definately going to find your competition in the system. No matte how good you think you are at something, you may always find someone who can compete.

So Consider your trials in life, you are always competition to make the right choice or to make the wrong choice. Some how there is always going to be someone that is trying to persuade or lead in the other direction than what you want. In the words of Jacob, a prophet in the Book of Mormon, "O Be wise, what can I say more." There really is one simple choice that can make the difference; learn the words of the savior of the world, Jesus Christ, and live as he has told us, "...Even as I am." 3 Nephi 27:27

Golfing

One of the most difficult games that any person could set off to try and be good at is Golf. It is a game that will make you think twice about what you are about to do, try to measure how hard to hit something going 3 feet, and make you wonder why you were great one day and not the next. I firmly believe that the game of glof is played between the space between your ears. And if you believe that you can do it, and you put in the effort in practice, you can be successful, no matter what level you play at.

I see living the Gospel the same. The game is played between your ears. If you believe and have faith that you can do it, put in the effort and practice, then you will be successful. To live like Jesus Christ is easy, no matter which level you are at. The main factor to the whole equation is jsut between your ears; Plain and simple JUST DO IT :)

Major Scooter Crash

Who has made a mistake in their life?? I can tell you that I have made many mistakes in mine, but everyone of them has brought me knowledge and experience. Without our mistakes we can not grow and learn how to become a better person. The real trick is to make the best of it and make your life better because of it!!

Proverbs 11:14
14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Softball :)

What gets better than having a softball game and a tailgate party with a group of friends, not much. Even though we are serving on A mission for two years or eighteen months, we all have to have fun sometime. One of the greatest things that we can have in our lives is the ability to laugh and have fun while enjoying the company of others. We will see, but the real question is if I can hit a homerun today ha. If you ever see Missionaries around, invite them over and talk with them. They have a great message for you and you will enjoy there company..

Michael Jordan??

When I was younger, I loved to watch Michael Jordan. He was my favorite player of all time. I would always dribble the ball in the house on our wood floors, or I would go outside to our basketball court in the backyard, and I would pretend that I was Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan, passing the ball aroud and making the winning basket to win the championship!!
But there was one thing that Michael Jordan could do that I could not, Dunk it!! So one day, a guy came to our house and parked his truck underneath the basketball hoop. This was my chance to be like Mike ha. I climbed on top of the truck, took a deep breath and jumped!! And I dunked it !!!! But then came the preoblem how do I get down now? As I was thinking this, my fingers started to slip and down I went, slipped on a rock at the bottom, and Pow!! Forearm to the ground, and yep, a broken arm.

Even though it seemed like a good idea at the time, I can obviously tell that it was a silly choice that I had made. The same goes for our lives. We all make mistakes, and though it may seem like a good idea at the time, when it is all over we realize how silly of a decision it was.
This reminded me of the Atonement. Even though we make mistakes, we can always be healed of our mistake. And though my arm was broken, with the help of the doctor it was able to be mended. Even though our hearts may be broken, or our spirits from the mistakes we make, It can always be mended with help from Jesus Christ, through the atonement :)

Jesus Christ

If you see this please leave your testimony of Jesus Christ as a comment, I would like anyone and everyone regardless of your faith to be involved. Show your love for the Savior and bear your testimony....

I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World. He died for us that we might live again, and have eternal life. There was no greater Sacrifice, and no one else that could do it. Because of him I owe my life, and because of him I will give my life, and serve him!

Miami Heat

The Power of 3!!

Dwayne Wade, Labron James, Chris Bosh... Amazing! They are the most recognized people on that team and they have led that team to where they are now. these are three superstars that are working together for one purpose, that championship ring!! This is one of the greatest gifts someone in the NBA can have, to have the ring and know that you have won the championship! But they are not alone, the team is not made up of three, or even just five, but everyone invloved has contributed to get them where they are now.

Similarly, consider the Godhead. They are 3 superstars that are leading the team, and everyone knows who they are. But again, they are not alone. We are on the team too. That is why I have come on a mission to Rochester, New York. I know the truth and I am part of the team to bring as many poeple as I can to the ultimate prize and purpose, eternal life!

I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and is another testiment of Jesus Christ, along with the BibleI know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet who restored the gospel and authority to the Earth; and this is my goal to let everyone know!

Please feel free to leave comments and explore the rest of my blog!!

LOST

Don't you hate it when you lose things!!!!!

Yesterday we had been biking all day in the sun, sweating to death under the 90 rochester sun. Finally we got home, and we can relax, I  turn to my companion and say, "DO YOU have the keys to the apartment." He says, "I thought you had them?" Ahhh!! once again we have lost something. WE have decided we are the most unlucky companionship ever. We lost the phone, the keys, the shower broke, the fan broke, we lost our car in an accident, ha ha, and many other things before we became companions.

Regardless of everthing that has happened there is always one thing that we can keep in mind. And it comes from the scripture Luke 15:24. It says in there, we are lost and now we are found. At one point Everyone has felt lost; in an activity, a sport, a project or just simply life sometimes ha. But the real thing we have to keep in mind is that no matter how many times we become lost, there is always hope to turn to the Lord and be found again.

"For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry."
